Reflection 3

The principal challenge that we faced was the lack of space because the library is next to the playground and next to another seminar, so we couldn't expand it in the way we wanted.
Another problem was the person that is going to be in charge of the library, because we dindn´t wanted to hire a librarian, we wanted to convince the teachers to stay there vigilating, but that is really hard to achieve because the teachers don´t wan´t to spend their free time "working" at the library.

Reflection 2

What we plan to do is to to change the electric installation using new sockets, because the students, that are going to work here are going to need to plug their computers also all chairs and tables must be changed because many of them are broken or uncomfortable and this will affect the students negatively.
Also a new AC system is needed to keep the library warm on winter and cool on summer. windows need to be changed because cool seeps through them, the last thing that we want to do is to create an internet database with the titles of all the books so students can find them easily.

Design Process 1

As we said previously in the design brief, we want to turn the library into a useful space for everyone in school. We came across with different appealing ideas, such as bigger windows for more natural light, increasing the space by adding the seminar to the library, create two different ambiences, reform the worn down material or improving the soundproof of the room.
All of this ideas, will help us to reach our main objective, which is to create a place where students could actually relax, study, spend time or even develop a taste for literature. This last idea lead us to other objective, to have a great variety of books of different genders and for various ages, that students could borrow. We still have to think how will work the procedure of the library or who will be in charge of it, but we will see in the future.
Another thing we will have to take in count of is the remodeling of the library. As we said before we want to put bigger windows and increase the space, we will have to take measures and make an approximate budget to see if this ideas are viables.
